Leak Detection

The purpose of the Leak Detection system is to monitor any leaks that may occur through the first wall of a double wall interceptor.

The Leak Detection system can only be used in a double wall construction. It is typically used in high risk applications where the seal of the interceptor needs to be monitored.

The Leak Detection option includes an alarm control box that is weatherproof rated NEMA 4/4X, 6' 120VAC power cord, 360 degree viewable alarm light, 85db @ 10' solid tone alarm, and a silence and test button that is to be mounted to the nearest structure. It also includes a pressure switch that is made from 316 stainless steel and is mounted inside the interceptor for oil or grease level detection and is connected to the alarm control box.
